The Juaso Community Association of the United States of America (JOCAUSA), Inc. is a not-for-profit association of Juaso citizens, resident in the United States of America. The association seeks to foster a common ground with other similar institutions to accomplish the aims and objectives as declared in its charter and by-laws.
JOCAUSA national headquarters is within the
Washington Metropolitan Area. The location is also the residence of the President of the Board of Trustees and the registered agent of JOCAUSA. |
Registered branches are in each state of the United States, as deemed by the General Membership Assembly.
Each branch determines the state delegate of that state & serves as the registered agent of that branch. The residence of the state delegate shall serve as the state headquarters. |
Our Aims & Objectives
JOCAUSA shall be organized for humane purposes and shall have as its aims and objectives as follows:
A.1. to foster harmonious community cooperation and relationships among members throughout the United States of America
A.2. to provide a medium for education, maintenance and preservation of our culture, arts and customs A.3. to provide a forum for free exchange of ideas and for resolution of issues affecting our common interests A.4. to encourage, direct and help on all matters affecting individuals and the community’s well being in health, economic and social welfare A.5. to utilize our resources in providing opportunities for combating community deterioration and for improving economic development A.6. to solicit funds from private and public sources and to conduct other fund raising activities to meet Jocausa’s aims and objectives |
A.7. to promote inter-cultural exchanges between our community, other communities and cultures within the United States of America and outside especially Sub-Saharan cultures in Africa
A.8. to support humane causes in domestic and outside the United States of America A.9. to promote causes leading to sister city relationships between communities in the United States of America and other communities outside especially Sub-Saharan African States A.10. to promote and contribute to establishment of endowment funds for scholarship, research, and education in the cultures of communities in the United States and other African cultures A.11. to implement the objectives and purposes of Jocausa as set forth in its Charter |
